2 Years.

Today is our two year anniversary.  I have the best husband.  Yesterday we went to Waikiki and watched the sunset on the beach.  Afterwards we ate a delicious steak dinner at a restaurant looking over the ocean.  It was lovely.  We're excited to see what year 3 brings us.  Happy Anniversary Daniel, I love you!
This picture was taken by my amazingly talented friend MEGUMI.  Enjoy this preview, there will be more to come!

Yay. A Surprise for Me.

Look what came in the mail today.
Husband just scored some major points.  I am also really impressed with how they kept the strawberries cold while they shipped it.  The box was huge (considering how small the strawberry box was) and it was filled with foamy pads to keep it insulated and ice packs.  Our anniversary is this Sunday, so we're celebrating the whole weekend.  Can't wait.  We'll see if the strawberries last until Sunday.

Fruit Pizza.

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to share with you the most delicious RECIPE in all dessert history.  This fruity, creamy, covered cookie will leave you happier than a fat kid with cake.  Trust me.  (I realize that fruit pizza is probably old news to most of you, but I am still obsessed).

Newspaper Nails.

I had a nail party with some of my girly friends the other night. I learned how to do newspaper nails, which seems to be the new trend these days?  Well here was my attempt at them.  Pretty cool don't ya think?
Here's the rundown on how it's done:
Paint your nails (the lighter the better).
Let them dry completely.
Dip your finger into a small cup of rubbing alcohol.
Place a small piece of newspaper on top of your nail.
Hold down and rub, but make sure the newspaper doesn't move.
Gently peel off.
It's kind of like putting on a temporary tattoo.
That's it!

Mokulua Islands.

Wouldn't it be great to be one of those kayakers out in the distance?
