Kelden & Dora.

Ah!  My little sister is getting married!  I can't believe it.  I'm so glad that they asked me to take their engagement pictures.  We had a blast. Congratulations you two!  Can't wait for your wedding in August.

I didn't want this trip to end.

We're back from our fun filled, ten day vacation. Washington is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. It is so green this time of year. I guess that's what happens when it rains almost every day. We were lucky to have had a few sunny days though. We had a great time spending time with family and meeting new faces.
Here are a few things that you can look forward to:
-Pictures from the Lake House
-Pictures from Seattle
-Pictures from Grandpa Ole's 80th birthday party

Happy Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday to my sweet husband!
Unfortunately, we spent the entire day driving in the car.  We just got back from a lovely vacation in Washington, therefore there wasn't much birthday celebrating that was done today.  Don't worry though, there will be lots of partying tomorrow.  Happy Birthday Daniel and I love you!

A Refreshing Summer Treat.

Just add sliced fruit and Capri Sun to a popsicle mold, then freeze. For these popsicles I used strawberries, blueberries, and mangoes.
I stole this idea from PINTEREST. I am addicted to pinning. You should check it out if you haven't already. And Feel free to follow me!

The Farmer's Market.

Things I've learned about Farmer's Markets in Montana:
-There are old men with crazy cool beards everywhere.
-They sell the best kettle corn I have ever tasted.
-Winter items are still sold during the summer.  (See beanies above).
-Sometimes people get nervous when you take pictures of their products. The guy who was selling the metal horse sculpture almost didn't let me take a picture, but said I could anyway.
-I learned who Hutterites are.  We saw lots of them there selling fresh produce from their farms.

Home Sweet Home.

This will be our home for the next few months.  I love it here.  Don't you love how adorable and quaint their home is?  My mother-in-law is quite the little decorator.

Hello Again, Big Sky Country.

We made it!  We're finally in Montana.  It's so green and beautiful here, and the sky really is bigger.  We'll be here for a few months while the husband does a little internship here with his dad.  We have a lot planned this summer, and the fun has already begun!

Reunited at last.

Well, it's been a long three and a half weeks.  It's nice to finally have a husband again!  Yesterday we went on quite the extravagant date.  Let me tell you about it...
We spent our time in downtown SLC and we went to dinner at a local Thai place that we love.  It had been over a year since our last visit, and the owner still remembered us!  I was impressed.  His name is Woot and he is THE coolest.  We spoke Thai to each other, even though I could only say a few words here and there.
For DESSERT we got some Belgium waffles.  Let me warn you...these aren't just any waffles, these are the BEST WAFFLES I'VE EVER HAD.  Their Frites were amazing too.  If you are ever in the Salt Lake area I highly highly highly recommend this place!  I'm drooling now just thinking about it.
After that, we took a very short walk around Pioneer Park, until we got scared and left.
Did you notice my new hair?  It's a lot darker and shorter if you couldn't tell.
We spent the night at the Radisson Hotel.  I loved sleeping in a giant king sized bed for a change.  (I don't really miss our tiny  double bed back in Hawaii).  We even got a Sleep Number mattress, you know...the ones where you can change the firmness or softness of the mattress.  I had to try it out by jumping on it.  I made one side really firm and the other side really soft.  The soft side was definitely a lot more bouncy.
When Daniel tried jumping on the bed he just bonked his head on the ceiling and fell down.
The End.
